Boilers Out Loud!
Boilers OUT Loud! is a group of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ) and Ally Purdue community members who author and perform monologues shedding light on the process of “coming out” and living their lives openly and authentically. Each unique narrative explores the diverse perspectives found within this community while also demystifying sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression in an effort to break down stereotypes and misinformation, build safer spaces, and promote civil dialogue around often challenging ideas. I wrote and performed the monologue "#NoMasc, #NoWhite" for Boilers OUT Loud, a group of LGBTQ and Ally Purdue community members who author and perform monologues shedding light on the process of “coming out” and living their lives openly and authentically. |
